About the Image(s)

"Lonely Man" is an image I captured on a dreary winter day. The low-hanging sun cast long shadows that seemed to stretch right out to my feet. The empty bench and the man positioned toward the back left of the frame struck me as profoundly lonely. I quickly grabbed my Nikon D700, the camera I was using at the time and tried to capture that melancholy mood. The shot was taken at an aperture of f/9 with a shutter speed of 1/125 of a second.
