A lovely scene with a wonderfully relaxed summertime atmosphere. For me, though, the foreground feels a bit busy, with the desk drawing attention away from the musician. When photographing street musicians, I often try either to include the audience's reaction to add a sense of interaction, or to move in closer and focus entirely on the performer. I think the clutter is inevitable with a shot like this. Much of it darker than the main subject. I would darken the bits on the table and brighten his face a little to match the brightness of the rest of him. A good street shot.   Posted: 07/10/2026 09:28:49

I agree with Robin's comments about brightening his face to match his body and I would also reduce the shadows on the bag and table items to separate the foregroud from the dark background.
