About the Image(s)

This is a male Great Spreadwing damselfly taken on Nov. 3rd, a few years ago. They are one of the last ones to fly in the fall before frost kills most others.
I just saw a mating pair yesterday, and we have NO water in the valley. Don't think laying eggs in my stock tank will do it. We have that out for the deer and birds. The drought is severe on the east side of the Rockies.
