Love the aspens, Leslie. Not crazy about the cow, though, especially from the back side. I probably would have had a different reaction if it had been a deer or big bull elk--and I know you have plenty of both in Colorado. This may be my personal bias showing, but the real star is the aspen trees. Your composition captures them quite well. I like the fall scene. I like that you were able to place yourself so that there was enough separation between the aspen trunks. The only thing I wish in this scene was to see the Longhorn in its entirety and maybe even face towards me. Such is nature.   Posted: 10/13/2025 17:21:43

Love this eclectic image...the trees and colors are beautiful and the Longhorn a pleasant surprise. I've done jigsaw puzzles with natural landscapes (all those similar looking trunks :-)) like this and every time decide not to do one again....they are impossible!!
