Background: image taken in a small countryside village in China in the region of Guiling.

Image taken in color (see secondary image) then cropped to my 2:3 format and converted in black and white with Capture 1. I am debating which one I like more. My wife and my daughters love the color, I am more keen for the black and white.

Hi Michele, I definitely like the B&W version better, I think it has a great feel to it. Overall, I think that the composition and exposure are right on. I really like the view of the three men and how all of their faces are visible. I think that the dog being partially shown is an nice touch. Posted: 10/16/2025 15:57:37
