I bought an old Canon EOS 5D Mark III camera and brought it out to test. This is a picture of the sunset at Manassas Battlefield, VA. Nothing special; I just tested it with long exposure to assess the noise level and sharpness. I used curved in PS to adjust without denoising. The metadata is posted on the picture to the right.

All the battlefields of the Civil War are records of sadness and tragedy. This image captures those feelsings. The long exposure helped render a lot of detail, yet did not over expose the lovely sunset, so well placed behind the cannon. Nicely done! Posted: 10/05/2025 13:18:23

A beautiful photo of a solumn place. You have balanced all of your components very well. The sunset sky bathes the subject just right.
