Sunflowers are a great subject, Ruth. I think even the lower one here adds to this, giving the "odd number". No distracting elements, nice close up.   Posted: 07/03/2026 14:54:40

I like the colors - and the pop of the sunflowers. Great detail - both in the flowers and the stems. Good range of brightness from the bright yellow to the dark background. Well done!   Posted: 07/12/2026 11:26:36

Excellent details in the stems.

I agree that an odd number of flowers really works. And I love that the third flower is facing in the opposite direction.   Posted: 07/12/2026 18:20:24

Hi Ruth,
Your sunflowers are beautiful! They look fresh and their colors pop against green background. I like the angle you captured the big 2 sunflowers that turned the image into a dynamic one.
I'd prefer to crop off the lower left sunflower which is a bit distracting since it's not clearly visible and facing different direction. To me, the bud in the lower right corner is sufficient to satisfy the "rule of odds" and to create a more balanced and engaging image.
Nice shot!   Posted: 07/15/2026 12:04:26
