About the Image(s)
"Horses in field" was taken about 2 years ago with my cell phone. Opened and resized in APS-CS6. Thought about flipping it, but decided not . Framed.

The combination of the wind blown grass, and the small puffy clouds, tells me it's one of those fresh days we get here in North America; nice! The fun part of this group is seeing the slice of life pictures from where others live.   Posted: 10/03/2025 22:28:12
Jack, thanks for your comments. It was a nice spring day.   Posted: 10/14/2025 14:33:52
I like the lush green grass - the horses really "pop" against that background. A very peaceful, pastoral scene. Image has nice depth; so many layers. Sharp image! Agree with not flipping it; no need.   Posted: 10/06/2025 16:03:01
Steven, thanks for your comments. I remain fascinated with wat can be done with with the little camera!   Posted: 10/14/2025 14:36:43
Agree - I'm amazed that sometimes I'll travel with my Canon "big boy" camera and iPhone - only to return home to find that my favorite images were taken with the iPhone. Not sure what the future holds . . .   Posted: 10/16/2025 07:41:40
Steven, I really didn't want to go to to such a little camera as I felt it just couldn't do the job: Now I'm very happy with the results.   Posted: 10/23/2025 20:58:56
Hi Ruth,
Nice shot! The lighting is beautiful, and the composition works really well. All the elements present a great scene for the landscape photo: the flowers (?) in the foreground, the horses, the long fence, the white farm, the hills, and the beautiful cloudy sky. My eyes traverse through the photo, moving from one point of interest to the next. No changes are needed, especially flipping could negatively impact your photo. Great photo!   Posted: 10/22/2025 05:07:23
