Bridge Stanchion was taken using a Minolta 9 and a 24-105 maxxim lens (set at 35mm). Film was TriX. Developed normally and then scanned using an Epson V600. This is a pedestrian bridge over a 6 lane highway. I found the shape interesting along with the partly cloudy sky.

Bill I love your leading lines that take you right to the big fluffy cloud. The smaller wires on both sides also take you to the top of the bridge and the clouds. Lots to look at and black & white was perfect for this photo. Nice job! Posted: 07/15/2026 20:02:06
Bill, the grain and tone in this image is very nice!
You might consider cropping from the bottom. I attached a possible example. It seems to add movement.
