About the Image(s)
I took this photograph while on vacation in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. I own a condo there, and I am able to get there a few times a year. I took this close to noon in August. F/5.6, 1/500s, ISO 140, 175mm. I took the Gondola up earlier in the day and climbed up some steps near where the Gondola reaches the top, about 9000 feet altitude. From this vantage point I was able to get close up shots of the Gondolas. I thought this was a good shot of someone on her way to do some actual mountain biking. For edits I removed a lot of glare from the window where the young woman is sitting. I also cleaned up a lot of scuff marks and small dents on the car itself. I thought those were very distracting."

It certainly tells a story. Your editing was well done. The background is nicely muted to tell viewers about place and how high the gondola is.   Posted: 11/01/2026 14:44:29
