About the Image(s)
Taken with a Canon 50D. 24-70mm lens. f/8, .6sec, ISO 100
The original was taken awhile ago but I decided to revamp it with a twirl!! Taken with waterdrops on a piece of glass with a coloured paper underneath.
I duplicated the original layer and then blurred the bottom layer. Using the transform tool in warp I pulled the corners over to give the twisted look. Other than getting rid of a few unwanted spots that is all I did to the image.

Rose, sorry I have used your technique from last month image!!   Posted: 11/01/2026 12:52:59
That actually is a complement. No need to apologize.   Posted: 11/01/2026 14:37:50
It is very effective. The colours work well. You managed to keep the original part of the image in the twirl which is very nice. Perhaps keeping the 2 corners away from the edge would work too.   Posted: 11/01/2026 14:40:19
Thanks, Rose. Yes, you are right about the corners. Would look better having whole twirl in the frame instead off the edges.   Posted: 11/01/2026 15:26:37
