About the Image(s)
Our neighbor asked us to water her backyard plants while she was away on vacation. I found this very usual flower in her yard, cut a blossom and brought it to my macro studio. This is commonly called a Darwin’s Slipper (Calceolaria darwinii) and is from South America. This is 60 images stacked. I removed the stamen as it drew too much of my view, on most of the flowers you can’t see it anyway. Did some touch-up here and there, especially on the leaves and improved it’s structure. Most of the editing was done dodging and burning to bring out more of its depth.
