About: The image is a composite; The background is a sunset taken from a cruise. (I am in the habit of taking images that might be used as a composite in the future. I saw the leaf and thought Wabi-Sabi.) In processing cropping; background was blurred; the leaf was sharpened; and colors of both blended to taste.

Hi Peter, My initial impression was too much warm tones. As I spent more time with the image, the focus difference between leaf and background took over and the story of a decimated leaf in a fiery scene took over.
