About the Photo
The State Fair of Texas is a popular three-week annual event in Dallas, famous for its rides and food. I visited specifically to experiment with slow-shutter photography and capture the motion of the rides.

I'm always a fan of slow shutter photography! And you photographing in color--a rare treat.
I especially like the swinging ride to the left,as it really shows the motion. If you have a pic of it, it would be a good subject, perhaps even better than the Zero Gravity.
I'll look forward to other thoughts, but I think Zero might look better with a little slower shutter speed.

Sunil - great capture of the two rides and the people. The overhang edges of the building on the right are a bit distracting for me so I might crop a little off the right side.   Posted: 11/01/2026 16:02:46
I like how you captured the 'Zero Gravity' ride. Yet the partial ride in slow motion on the left feels distracting, since that ride could form a compelling image on its own.   Posted: 11/01/2026 17:01:10
