I can't resist. This is Logan, a 9 month old Portuguese Water Dog (my 5th one). At my age I wanted to get an older, calmer PWD, but none were available. So I took the plunge and got Logan at two months of age. He is "coming along." He has keep us house bound, so no travel plans for the near future.
Black restive puppy, bright sunlight, A challenge for sure. I shot this at 1/250, f5.6, ISO 200, EV +1.5. LR mask, blur, some dodging and burning.

A strong portrait of man's best friend Sanford, complete with character and mischief. We can imagine that he would be a handful and living life at a million miles an hour, as all dogs under 12 months of age do. We note from your original, that your assistant was able to assist keeping Logan relatively still for a 250th of a second. A good solid image of a valued member of your household and family. Logan is sure adorable. Being that he is a PWD, have you taking him to water for a swim or perhaps, a boat ride. He probably wouldn't need a flotation device since he's a PWD. Love the image...you captured a beautiful moment...nice portrait. Posted: 07/19/2026 08:17:08
