About the Image(s)
This was taken at the Changdeokgung Palace in Seoul, South Korea. The name means the "Palace of Prospering Virtue." It was established in 1405 and is among the best preserved of all Korean palaces. In 1997, it was made a UNESCO World Heritage Site. That is my little niece in the foreground walking towards the steps of the palace. The image was cropped and edited in Lightroom. Extra people were removed and the exposure and color were adjusted.

Nice photo. I like the contrast you created of the little girl and the tall palace; the two people at the front door also gave a sense of the scale of the large palace front.   Posted: 10/08/2025 05:32:19
Excellent image Dennis. The lighting accentuates the story and the people in it help. Wish the one person with a turquoise shirt had a darker shirt on because it draws your eye directly to it. Very well done.   Posted: 10/11/2025 19:56:44
It's a well balanced image. Good color and sharp. Maybe without the kid would be better? I would try more pavement and less building to have more sense of depth.   Posted: 10/13/2025 23:21:52
I like this image Dennis. Good composition, well balanced colors and great light. I really like the child in the foreground. To me that figures add a lot to the story and makes the image better. I don't like however the two people at the entrance of the temple. They just create distraction, particularly because one has a bright blue jacket.

Excellent composition. I agree with Spring that the child in the foreground gives it perspective. However, the two figures in the door seem like a distraction that could be removed.   Posted: 10/16/2025 01:03:29
