About the Image(s)

I took this photo in June 2026, during a lovely late afternoon in Port Clyde, Maine??”a bustling lobstering community. I really liked the original silhouette, so I adjusted the exposure just a bit to help the subject pop while adjusting the background making it a bit darker. I also expanded the left side and turned it into a monochromatic image to give it a calming feel.

Equipment: FujiFilm X-T4, Lens XF70-300mm F4-5.6
Settings: Exposure: 1/2000 sec at f6.4, EV Bias: -0.67, Aperture priority, ISO 400, Focal Length 184.6mm (277mm/35mm)
Post Processing: DxO PureRAW, Lightroom Classic, Photoshop
