About the Image(s)

This is the root cellar for a uranium miner cabin in Utah, from the same area I submitted an earlier miner cabin image. I was attracted to the stratigraphy, the sedimentary layers so visible in the surrounding landscape. The open door to the cellar forms a nice focal point and draws your eye and imagination into what lies inside. The overcast day adds to the mysterious feelings about the site. I took this with my Fuji XT2 camera with a 10-22mm lens, fully wide at 10mm, F/5 at 1/200th sec, ISO 200. I look forward to the comments of others.
