This is a nice image. I normally struggle with composition and shoot several, zooming a little closer on each one to enlarge the people. This gives more of an expansive feel, but almost hides the woman to the right and down (hidden from the waist down behind snow) from the group. Overall, a dramatic image.   Posted: 10/10/2025 21:55:08

HI Geoff- You go to more interesting places! This is a powerful image with the glacier framed by the large stone outcroppings on either side and the blue sky beyond. No substantive suggestions, but I just wonder if it wouldn't be a more powerful image if there were only one or two people in the center rather than a whole group. I tried slimming the group down to 2 people to see what it would look like, and I like the result. What do you think?   Posted: 10/10/2025 22:35:33

Hi Geoff,
You are quite the adventurer!
This is a very dramatic scene, and the people help in realizing the vastness of this place.
I would like to preserve the bare rocks on top, but see more details of the other climbers.
I took the liberty of providing 2 different crop suggestions - mainly to engage a discussion.

Hi Geoff, thanks for always sharing your rare and exclusive images with us. I agree with Pierre suggestion to crop the bottom part of the scene.   Posted: 10/14/2025 03:38:19
