This is an Evening Twilight scene from the shores of Fort Erie, Ontario, Canada, by the North East end of Lake Erie - pointing towards the West-South West.

Equipment: Fujifilm X100 VI (Portable, fixed lens camera), Handheld.

Setting: ISO 1600, f/4, 23 mm (cropped sensor- approx 35 mm full frame equivalent.
Natural HDR combo of 5 images: 1/210 sec (EV -3), 1/105 sec (EV -02), 1/52 sec (EV -1), 1/26 sec (EV 0) and 1/13 sec (EV_1).

Slight cropping, Light adjustments, Combo of images, and noise reduction using ON1 Photo Raw.

Wonderful photo, Pierre! It has all the best elements: a sunset with beautiful fading colors, nice reflection the in water, a strategically placed streetlight leading to other distant lights, a great leading line in the sidewalk and railing: terrific! Hi Pierre, I like this soft and smooth twilight. I partially increase the contrast of the far right area the end of the road curve to make it stronger. Crop the left of the scene which is a bit too wide to me. This is more a personal preference.   Posted: 10/14/2025 03:15:27
