About the Image(s)

Taken last year in the Serengeti Park. Was too difficult to remove all the grass so I left it in place as his "hiding place!"
Sony A7 600mm lens. Auto ISO 6400. f8, 1/2500sec in Manual mode.

I was wondering about the grass. I do find the green near his whiskers distracting. Are you able to select that & turn it brown?
Was there much cropping to this image as it seems a bit grainy/noisy
Such a special moment though   Posted: 10/02/2025 07:14:38

Good suggestion, Diane.
Here is the original image and the edited version using AI generative fill to remove the green leaf.   Posted: 10/05/2025 17:04:47

Mervyn,
The cat's eyes really pop in this image. Removing the green leaf in front of the face helps; the rest of the grass seems fine and provides context.   Posted: 10/06/2025 21:07:14

What a beautiful kitty....
Lovely image. I agree with the others that removing the green leaf is very helpful.
Fantastic details.
Well done!   Posted: 10/10/2025 21:47:19

This is a lovely photo. Looking at the AI photo helped to remove the more distracting elements from the picture. Looking at the base image you really helped to improve the lighting and the crop really helped to remove the more distracting elements.   Posted: 10/14/2025 01:04:49

I love those eyes! I truly did not mind all of the grass since that is what was there and it is natural. I might have cropped with a little more over his head; it seems tight to me. You really got some fantastic Africa photos!   Posted: 10/14/2025 18:11:31
