This flower is commonly referred to a "Bird of Paradise". An evergreen perennial, it is widely cultivated for its dramatic flowers. This photo was taken at the Nicholas Conservatory (Rockford, IL) on 9/4/25 with a Red Hydrogen 1.

Nice shot. The image is very sharp and has nice depth. I didn't see any window violation. May be tighter crop will be better. Posted: 10/23/2025 10:25:58
