About the Image(s)
This is an image Peace Lily (Spathiphyllum) flower. My first trial with the new Canon RF-S 7.8mm f/4 STM Dual lens for close-up 3D images. The lens is not fully compatible with R5 body, but still we can use it. ISO-200, f/5, 1/100sec, -0.3 step exposure bias, 8mm with spot metering. The background got a little blurred. I should have used a higher F-stop value!!! The image was trimmed to square size and further processing SPM.

Here is a helpful tutorial "UNDERSTANDING AND CONTROLLING THE STEREO WINDOW" by David Kuntz:

Is there any major window violation in the above image? The stalk of the flower is behind the window. It bends and a portion of the flower is coming out of the window. I understand that it is not a window violation, but TTW. If I am wrong, please correct.   Posted: 10/03/2025 07:28:48

It's a great stereo photo and an interesting flower. Personally I would have converged the flower petal to be in slightly more negative parallax. Extending further through the stereo window. Putting the stereo window or convergence point at the flower stem.   Posted: 10/11/2025 02:11:00
The water droplets are great. Colorful and very good 3d effect. Even though you want to reduce the blurring, it and the lighting focus attention on the foreground image.   Posted: 10/19/2025 14:15:45
