About the Image(s)

During a morning walk through a nearby nature conservancy, I came across a field of spent milkweed pods. Inside one pod, I discovered a pair of snails sheltering in its empty hull.

I processed the image in DxO PureRaw to remove noise and correct lens distortion, enhanced the details withDetail Extractor in Nik Color Efex, and converted it to monochrome in Nik Silver Efex.
