About the Image(s)

The photo I am simply titling “Greenville.” I have largely been a Canon person the majority of my life but always curious about other brands. A member of my former camera club had a Nikon D90 that he was selling for cheap. I decided to try it and paired it with a Sigma 17-50mm f/2.8 lens. I was pleased with what an older 12.3MP camera can do. This photo was captured while walking around downtown Greenville, SC very late in the afternoon. I liked the shadows and contrast from the late-day angle of the sun but did not like the stark blue sky so much. I decided to switch this one to monochrome. I’m often impressed with what I see others do when switching to monochrome however when I do so myself, I always find myself just saying “meh.”

Curious how others might make this pop more as a mono.
