About the Image(s)

Olympus EM-1 mk3 with 12-40mm f2.8 lens; ISO 200, 12mm, f8, 1/200th

A cold & windy day! I wished I'd had a wider lens, as I managed to get the main light tower upright, the one on the left is leaning slightly. Most of the processing was done in Camera Raw where I increased texture & clarity to give the image a bit more 'grit'. Unfortunately, the main light tower is in the centre of the image but it was the only way to get the church & the abbey on the cliff top included in the image. If you have read the book Dracula - he arrived in Whitby harbour & went up the steps to the church/abbey after leaving the ship.
