About the Image(s)
Please find attached my July image
The title is "The Beehive Geyser"
The geyser is in Yellowstone Park in Wyoming.
I like this geyser because of its size and shape, which resemble a beehive. I took the image in September 2023. The last time I was there was in the late 1990s and the image I took then was a slide. Sadly the slide was lost during a contest.

My husband and I were just there in May. We even stayed at the Old Faithful Inn. These geysers are hard to photograph yet so much fun to see. Thank you for sharing your photo.   Posted: 07/07/2026 16:18:53

Yellowstone is a goldmine for photography! The image is sharp and geysers are always a joy. I think it would have been helpful to grab a little more of the surroundings to give it more context.   Posted: 07/16/2026 14:27:12

Hi Alec,
Thank you for the suggestion. I was also thinking of leaving more surroundings but I thought it mite take away from the subject.
Again Thank You.

Robert, Yellowstone is amazing. I love that you caught the steam coming off this geyser. It's sharp and nice that you have some color around it to help separate it from the surroundings. Maybe good if you had more of the landscape, but I like that the beehive top is just along the line that the landscape changes.   Posted: 07/19/2026 13:58:33
