About the Image(s)
The Explorer” was inspired by Heidi’s lovely lady in the flower last month. I had the perfect flower for the purpose (Orig. 1) from a recent Macro Photography workshop where the idea was a very narrow depth of field. I just wasn?t able to set that quite correctly, and just amused myself seeking all kinds of portals through the lens. I converted the flower into B&W in Affinity Photo and added some Glamour Glow in NiK Color Efex. I cut out the Explorer from Orig, 2, pasted her between two layers of Orig.1 and erased the unnecessary parts. I added the lantern (Orig. 3) and applied Point Lighting effect in Affinity on it. Then I enlarged the canvas and added a layer of starry sky in 96% opacity in Add blend mode. I am not sure if the light of the lantern shows as it should, but making the center of the portal-flower did not seem to help either? What do you think?
