About the Image(s)
Two weeks ago an approaching autumn storm triggered leaves to leave their branches. I thought it would be grand to catch a leaf in flight, but I did not succeed. On my way back into my house I noticed a leaf that was tethered by a long spider web. It was twirling and being blown in all directions. I tried to capture that windy dance. I photographed it with a Canon R10 set to ISO 100, f/6.3, 1/25 sec, and a Canon RF 18-150 lens at 150 mm. The image was cropped and processed in Lightroom Classic. Shortly after taking the photograph the leaf escaped and soared off to join the colorful carpet of leaves in the yard.
