These third-year Brown bear (grizzly) cubs are not serious about putting on weight for the winter hibernation. The ranger told us that this will be their last year living with their mother. We were in an Alaska rainforest area and sunlight was minimal.

Post-processing: Increased exposure, increased blue-tone of river, decreased the shadows, increased exposure and contrast on the bears using a mask and cropped the image. Sharpened bears.
