About the Image(s)

This chrysalis took my breath away when I first noticed it hanging on the iron pole used to stake my tomato plant. It was amazing to see Monarch wings inside. Although I checked it regularly I never got to see it hatch or dry its wings before taking flight. Maybe next year. This photo was hard to shoot as the chrysalis was hidden deep in the tomato plant. Cropped and light editing in Snapseed.
