Paul, a great shot! I like the curving stone walkway that leads us into the frame and to the main subject, the lighthouse. Only a couple of small suggestions: I would either crop up from the bottom or use a clone tool to eliminate the distracting dark spot in the path; also, I might be tempted to up the contrast a little to achieve more detail especially in the sky and increase the sense of drama.   Posted: 10/11/2025 20:57:08
Nice capture...really like how the curved lines lead one to the lighthouse. Would you consider cropping out some of the foreground.

Paul, strong image, beautiful location! The reinforcements at the base of the fence and the severity of all the stone in the foreground conveys the rugged endurance of the site.
I'm not sure any adjustment is needed, as the weathering of the site is part of the story, but for the sake of comparison here is a cropped version:

This is one of my favorites of yours. Very nicely handled with the curved path and fence leading my eye right to the lighthouse. I agree with the suggestion to crop out some of the foreground. I like Charles' edit.   Posted: 10/20/2025 15:51:20
