Charles, I love both night and street photography (and combining the two genres, as you have done here). I like the BW version of this. You have managed the store lighting well so that we have lots to look at within. The women walking past are a bit dark, but not so much that they are a distraction IMO. Too bad they didn't stop to look in the window while you were there with your camera. A couple of things: I would probably be tempted to crop down from the top to eliminate the bright overhead lights; and, although nothing can be done about it, the black pole in the foreground is a bit imposing.   Posted: 10/11/2025 20:28:26

I think you may prefer this crop (sorry, I still like the lights)   Posted: 10/19/2025 21:09:32

Nice sharp shot....i like the colour version as well with the pink flowers on the right tending to provide a soft frame on that side   Posted: 10/15/2025 11:36:49

Nice focus and an interesting street photography image. Your depth of field is very good, especially for inside the shop. I agree with Lorna, that the lights at the top could be cropped out. Since they are the brightest spots in your photo, they draw my eye up and out of the frame. For me, they distract a bit from the interesting shop.   Posted: 10/20/2025 16:01:52
