About the Image(s)
Another capture from walking about Chicago during an Out of Chicago Photography conference a few years ago. I will always call it The Sears Tower, 233 S. Wacker Drive, which opened in 1973 and then sold to a group who renamed it (2009) The Willis Tower long before I made this photo. It is 110 stories tall with a Skydeck which can be visited ($$) for one heck of a view of the city. I tried to process this as what I felt when I made it. I was in awe of its enormous presence and its dramatic rise above the street which was enhanced by the neat sky and the reflections.
Fujifilm XT2, 18-55 at 18mm (27mm full frame), f5.6, 1/1600, ISO 200.
Lightroom Classic and Nik Silver Pro.
