About the Image(s)
This month, I went to Brunswick, a small, historic town in Maryland, to shoot some street photography, but not really knowing what to expect. I arrived around sunrise and was fortunate to find dense fog engulfing the town. I captured this image of someone walking in the fog under the large, Brunswick welcoming sign. Taken with a Nikon full-frame camera and 50mm lens. Other than removing two parked cars with Photoshop's remove tool, I did very little post processing.

David,
That is a very interesting shot. You got him just at the right point in the stride, and just the right point in the crosswalk. I think you did the right thing by removing the cars. While they were not distracting to me, taking out the white one gave a cleaner look down the street. I love the fact that there are several street lights visible, and many more implied, yet only one is lit. Entertaining. And, the size of that giant STOP sign. Ha.
A couple of things distract me a some. The bright poster or display on the far left in the foreground and the white tree trunk on the middle ground on the right. Maybe they could be darkened a little. But then, again, they do lead the eye around a bit.   Posted: 11/02/2026 02:22:44
