About the Image(s)
This past weekend, I took part in a camera club outing to a pioneer village just outside of Hamilton, Ontario. On a bright day, some of the structures screamed for HDR processing because of the high contrast levels. I processed the usual brackets in Nik HDR 8 using the Structurized 1 preset that helps to bring out the strong texture of the wooden building. Back in Lightroom I cropped the image to remove unneeded foreground and tried straightening the perspective, which was slightly off. I had to finish in Photoshop because it still wasn't quite correct. I also added a bit of space on the right hand edge using content aware fill (avoided generative because I might use it in a competition later). This also required a bit of using the remove tool to get rid of some repeats in the foliage. Enjoy!
