About the Image(s)
I took this image two weeks ago while visiting the Genesee Country Village and Museum in Mumford, New York. The first building I entered was the Country Store where this lady was weaving baskets. I took about four shots and this one, to me, was the best. As it turned out it was the best image I shot all day. I didn’t ask the lady to pose; I just took some shots while she was working. I usually visit the Genesee Country Village and Museum about twice each year and it never fails to yield some really nice images.
Basic exposure and color adjustments were done in Camera RAW. Denoise and sharpening in Topaz. A bit of local dodging/burning in Photoshop.
This image was shot with my Nikon Z8 and the 24-120 lens. There’s usually little light in these structures, so my ISO was a whopping 25600, f/8, and 1/100 second.
