About the Image(s)
I took this image in the huge greenhouse at Brookside Gardens in Maryland. I've been going there my whole life, but this was the first time I ever saw a frog there! I'll submit this for my camera club's "natural shadows" theme competition. I used LR's denoise, then ran it through Topaz AI to denoise and sharpen. Then in LR, I darkened the bright area near the frog, but if I darkened it too much, the frog didn't stand out as much from the background. Any suggestions on the crop or anything else? Thanks!
Thank you,
Janice

Hi Janice. Well spotted. So often we go to these parks and don't see the small things. You have processed this well. The only comment I will make is try cropping in further if you can to make the frog bigger in the image. It is cute the way it's rear end is in shadow while the frog is peering over the edge of the leaf.   Posted: 10/12/2025 06:41:49
Hi Janice. What a great find! I like your crop because it really shows how small this little frog is. Love the shadow!   Posted: 10/17/2025 14:48:55
Hi, Janice,
It's a great picture.. I like how tiny the frog is; but with all the body seen in the shadow. Very cute.

I agree with Julie that worthwhile cropping in.   Posted: 10/18/2025 12:58:52
