About the Image(s)
Something different this month. I have just returned from a 16 group tour in Morocco - very interesting Country with much history, traditions, lovely people and desert (northern edge of Sahara). Our tour included a night in a desert camp (amazingly luxurious!) but more importantly, it had pole position boing a few hundred yards from high dunes - all other camps were on a flat area. So we could photograph sunset and sunrise with minimal walking.
I chose a camel picture for added interest (other shots were concentrating on shapes and light contrast) - this pair were actually from our group - I chose this as the rising light just about caught them. it was a nuisance that he chose a white T-shirt that day!
Anyway - taken with Olympus OM-1 & 12-100 Pro lens at 100mm with digital x2 set - so FF 400mm - 1/800 f4 ISO 320. I find the digital doubling in camera works well with modern cameras (it combines a few shots, delivering a JPEG which I find is OK if focus is nailed and exposure reasonably correct).
All PP in LCR. I had 'fun' adding a stroke border as I don't use Photoshop & LCR only can do this via printing as a JPEG.
