About the Image(s)
This is Rakvere Castle, Estonia. which I visited during my Nordic trip this June. It's a medieval stone castle built by the Teutonic Knights, situated on a hill in Rakvere. The castle is constructed of rough, light beige stone walls, with numerous tower ruins standing amidst the ruins. The walls bear the marks of time, preserving the imposing feel of a medieval military castle. The castle sits on rolling, verdant slopes, with clusters of bright yellow wildflowers in the foreground. In the distance, gentle woodlands stretch out. The castle is positioned at a golden ratio point, the hillside guiding the eye, and the wildflowers in the foreground adding depth; the clouds prevent the sky from feeling empty, creating a harmonious blend of history and natural scenery.
