This last weekend we went to Eastern Washington in the Palouse area. This is an old Grainery that is well known off the highway. I liked the way the clouds in IR look like it is blowing the building over.
The Grainery ISO 500 , 34mm, f4.0.

For some reason, Lauren, this image makes me smile. Would love to see the original building as I am trying to imagine the purpose of the top part. It almost looks like a toy (Jenga) that one keeps piling rooms on top of before they topple. Well rendered by you. The clouds are such an artistic contrast to the old, textured dilapidated building. Debbie, the building is on highway 195 a few miles south of Pullman. My understanding is that it was a grain elevator. I think it was used to lift grain out of storage and onto railroad cars or trucks. It is very well known and has been there for a very long time. Sort of part of the Palouse area as a local landmark.
