About the Image(s)
This was taken with my Nikon Z7 converted for Infrared with a NIKKOR Z28-75mm f/2.8 lens. I brought it to PS, tweaked the colors, and eliminated the phone pole. I debated whether to just make it a square emphasizing the ‘unusual’ house but then decided I wanted to tell the story of the road and surroundings in the middle of ’nowhere’ even though it is a bit busy (just like the house!). I loved the house and all of the ‘accessories’ for show.

It is a fascinating house, and ironic with the sign "white house" upside down. The original doesn't have that sign?
I am torn about wanting to see the house up close and the details. I think cropping in might be the answer, although losing that sign is sad. It has a motorcycle!   Posted: 10/06/2025 20:13:01

Thank you, Lauren. I must have used the wrong original or cropped the original. I do love that sign-especially the upside down aspect. Thanks again.   Posted: 10/16/2025 16:03:29

A great image Debbie. Some details such as the road surface, trees and poles on the right hand side, lead me to think a change of position / angle has happened here, but that is such a minor detail. I love your presentation of this in colour IR. Great composition and use of the elements in this scene. Congratulations on a great image.   Posted: 10/26/2025 11:43:13
