October 2025 - Red Granite Rocks

On May 03, 2022 - I Went to southern Banten province of Java’s Island to remote area that was known as Semar’s beach. This is my first time to visit this hidden area. This was image from my second camera. First camera on tripod, while this camera I used handheld.
Editing : using ACR in PS2025 with auto adjustment mode. I adjust hue / saturation by adding little bit redder colour to pop up the rock colour.

This is a beautiful composition that brings a sense of serenity to me. I love the palette of colors, the textures, symmetry, and layers (foreground-to-background). Also, what appears to be the spray of a wave hitting the rock on the right side of the frame.
For consideration: the (well-chosen) title of your image is "Red Granite Rocks"; I might suggest boosting the saturation of the reds on the rocks, as they appear somewhat muted on my monitor... Posted: 10/08/2025 17:11:28

This is a very well taken image, the depth of field and focal point is spot on. The detail and texture in the rock are very good and those green splashes stand out well.
But the image for me is slightly unbalanced and comes across a touch busy, so your eye does not flow and go where you want them to. But with a very slight crop by taking a slither off the right and foot the balance is there and the centre mass of rock becomes strong. Lovely image. Posted: 10/13/2025 10:14:02

This is beautiful. It looks like a painting. The movement of the water adds drama to the scene. There are so many intriguing objects in the scene, it keeps the viewer engaged with the photo. And the textures are fantastic. Posted: 10/18/2025 01:20:56
