Canon R5 with RF24-105mm f/4
This is an abandon gas station on the side of the highway in Southeastern Wyoming. As usual I post processed it as a color image. I liked the color image so I proceeded to do my usual BW post processing in Photoshop with a BW adjustment layer and camera raw.
Also, this image was juried into the Facebook group “Black and White Photography” which is a bit of an accomplishment.

At first I wanted to say that I'd like to see more contrast, but you have some black blacks already. Keep it as is.   Posted: 10/03/2025 00:57:30
It is true what Wes observed that you already have black blacks, but I agree with his first thought, that the rest of the image could have a little more contrast.
I like the way the sky turned out in your finished image. And it is all sharp as a tack, which makes the shingled roof and the siding look so crisp.   Posted: 10/03/2025 01:27:36

This is a nice find and your editing really helped the image. To me, the contrast is good, and the sharpness is great. What bothers me is the totally black windows. Congratulations on the Facebook group.   Posted: 10/15/2025 20:34:25
You've got some really good detail brought back in the building and the vegetation in the foreground looks good. However, I think it is the sky which needs some help -it's all rather wishy-washy. You've brought back some differentiation but now it does need some increased contrast.
I wondered whether you could introduce a ghostly face in one of the windows!   Posted: 10/22/2025 15:38:25
