I just returned from the PSA Festival in Portland. While I have a ton of pix taken there, the last card in my camera is the one I selected and this is what it had as part of the contents. Something very different for a change.

Hi Ella - What a beautiful low-key image of the ballerina! You have superbly captured the ballet lines that convey the fluidity, artistry and form. The soft side-light illuminating the ballerina is also really well-exposed. And the blurry tassels gives it a sense of motion.

Although the dancer is frozen in time the whole image screams movement,the model is perfectly placed in the frame the lighting is sublime and pp handled wonderfully its a nailed on winner. Posted: 10/19/2025 10:42:59
