About the Image(s)
The original was taken in Charleston, SC. I processed it on an iPad using several apps--Tiny Planets and Circular. I usually make an odd number of what develops. These actually have done well in exhibitions.

I really like your intriguing abstract. Very sharp focus. Colors and lighting are very pleasing.   Posted: 10/09/2025 15:30:54

Excellent job Judy. I've ben practicing on circular but haven't found the right subject beyond flowers. I'll have trouble catching you if you keep progress like this. :-)

Thanks, Judy. I'm reading Art & Fear: Observations On the Perils (and Rewards) of Artmaking By David Bayles and Ted Orland. It was suggested reading by Brooks Jenson at the PSA Portland Festival, and I think this image matches their philosophy perfectly. As we get to a stage where we can take our art in a new direction, and it is fun, then do it. The more fun and errors we learn from, the better the creation. If I enjoy your work too, it is just a bonus.

Hi Judy, I think this is your best reimagined stair study yet.It is quite mesmerising and I would not change anything,   Posted: 10/13/2025 21:02:49
Another cool abstract! I really like the center and it's framed nicely by the railings.   Posted: 10/20/2025 16:29:20
Thanks for all your comments. They are encouraging. It is a bit surprising that quite a few of my stairway and other images done in a like manner have been accepted in PSA exhibitions. We are stuck at home for quite a while now and this is a way for me to do photography.   Posted: 10/24/2025 20:21:39
