About the Image(s)
The regular-colored image is probably recognized by most and those shots were probably taken when no people, carts, tables, boats were allowed. So, I took a different route to present my photo and still have Impact. Using Topaz Studio 2 and used a few filters but mainly “Brilliant on White”. I feel that it works for this old trading district and picks up a lot of the textures.

Your version of this street is far more interesting than the original. I really can't think of anyway to improve this nice sharp, colorful image.   Posted: 10/09/2025 15:42:10
An interesting thought Karen. Of course I have multiples of the original. I'm not sure if you can straighten just the tower at the end I think the painted buildings will change also. You know that sometimes a dramatic change works better than a small one and then folks aren't sure why you changed history. I just gave it a try using guided Transform tool. They all lean back from the waterfront on left and when straightening the tower the image needs to be given more room on the left side. I just gave them all a new paint and texture.   Posted: 10/12/2025 01:24:56
The Perspective Warp or Perspective Transform tools will straighten most anything.   Posted: 10/23/2025 21:36:02
I like the added blue hue in the sky!   Posted: 10/13/2025 11:21:47
Thanks for your idea Bob, but I think it's overdone with the blue texture in the sky.
I could live with the blue on the buildings I think you over did yourself on that texture in the sky. What did you use to create this edit?   Posted: 10/24/2025 00:10:50

I try not to overdo myself, but if you work outside the box, it happens. I didn't add any texture, just a blue layer. I just use PS and LR for editing and the new Topaz Studio/Gigapixel for my own images. I keep them all updated.   Posted: 10/25/2025 00:16:54
Very creative Bob and you have made a picture that is both surreal and fascinating. You have convinced me I really will have to have a go with TOPAZ Studio 2 even if it is on my second computer with the uncomfortable chair. I( really like it well worth the time you spent on it.   Posted: 10/13/2025 21:14:35

Hi Bob, this is so distinguishably Bergen. I love your creativity and turning the famous landscape (frequently photographed) into a unique piece of art. I like both version of the render (original and the one with a hint of blue sky). The sketch-like strokes color choices really make this picture stand out. Great job!   Posted: 10/15/2025 05:48:34
Thank you Jennie. I appreciate your comments. Yes, I do like to go outside the box that many feel compelled to stay within.   Posted: 10/24/2025 00:14:06
I love this type of editing! I think it is good to create something different from a scene that has been taken many times. I will be there next August and hope to capture some of the beauty!   Posted: 10/20/2025 16:40:26
Good job, Bob. I will have to check the filter out once I get Topaz installed again. Elements isn't working right now and I have to check that out and then deal with the filters.
I like your rendition as it is different from what one usually sees.   Posted: 10/24/2025 20:28:39
