About the Image(s)
This was taken at the outdoor Union Railroad Museum recently at a special night event. Various trolleys and trains were brought out to shoot at sunset and night, with some models dressed for the time periods. In this picture with the trolley stopped at a crossing, I underexposed the frame to protect the brighter sky. Also I used a trick I had forgotten about, which is if you position a mirror (in this case an iPhone) under a wide angel lens, you can get a reflection. After adjusting the exposure and shadow values, straightening, and cropping in Lightroom, I brought it into Photoshop to remove some of the wires on the right side, and in the right side of the “Puddle reflection”.
ISO 800, 47 mm, -2EV.
