About the Image(s)
At the end of Sept my local community had a car show which
was primarily of antique cars. The one was quit different and stood out because of its size and bright colors. I also liked the guy standing in front of the truck which gave it a sense of scale. Shot at 1/125 @ f7.1and ISO 200 adjusted by -0.7 EV. Used a 24 - 105 mm lens set to 41mm. in post I adjusted color, sharpness, removed noise, and other people.

Subtlety has its place, but sometimes the opposite is just right - "Go big or go home" as they say on your side of the Atlantic applies to the truck, and to the colours that you've captured to perfection in this image.
I love it.
And I agree that the guy does give a sense of scale to the truck.   Posted: 10/09/2025 10:22:03

The first thing that came to my mind when I saw the image was 'HDR". I like the color rendering of the image - the vibrant blue, yellow and hot pink all stand out on their own but they don't clash. The strong contrasting color actually adds some sort of richness to the image. It is a good photo.
Also as Brian commented, the guy next to the truck does give a sense of scale to the truck. Thank you for sharing Eric!   Posted: 10/15/2025 05:25:26

Wow! What a vehicle and what a capture. Well done.   Posted: 10/16/2025 14:31:08
I just think of the cost of the tires when I see a vehicle like this. We think photography is expensive :) I enjoy pictures of mechanical things and there is a lot to look at in this one. The colors are great and its a very impactful image.   Posted: 10/19/2025 12:26:11
Great image! I kept zooming in to see what all the decals said (the clarity of your image made that possible). I realized there was more to this than one spectacular truck, and looked up Monster Trucks. Turns out this is a really big thing. In our area, there is not only a "Monster Jam" event in January with full-size trucks, but, for kids, a separate "Hot Wheels Monster Truck" event just just held this month. Apparently these BIG trucks are BIG business.   Posted: 10/23/2025 01:44:54
