About the Image(s)
This was taken a long time ago while on an outing with Mark Southard. I was experimenting with some presets in On1 PhotoRaw and kind of liked the change to a sort of sunset view.

Very well done with the vertical orientation and balancing the foreground reflection with the actual lighthouse. Nice conversion of the sky. I wonder if you selected out the sky and inverted it so that every thing else could be brightened a little, would it bring out more detail? Having said this, I acknowledge that it could just be my monitor.   Posted: 10/10/2025 14:55:23
I like the sunset toning as it brings out the shades of fall, and the image becomes much more interesting. I agree with Jerry that it has made the foreground a little too dark.   Posted: 10/12/2025 16:38:04
I also love this composition and agree to brighten it a bit. It appears to me to be leaning to the right. If the sky is a On1 enhancement, I feel that some of the redness of the sly should reflect in the reflection.   Posted: 10/13/2025 15:04:59
I really like the sky modification and agree with others that the foliage need brightening. I also think you might want to consider a tighter crop. I understand that you wanted that reflection to show but when you changed the sky that colored cloud is not in your reflection and it looks odd to me.   Posted: 10/13/2025 18:33:43
